1MAd

I’m Tom (26) from a country named Estonia. I’ve just uploaded the 1MAd iPhone app to the iTunes Store.

I know it’s probably not the best line to begin with but my app really does nothing valuable. At least you cannot blame me for lying thereafter.

1MAd app shows a banner advertisement and amount how much it has generated from the displaying the ad. Now there is a point where you can join the game. If you guess correctly when the revenue from ad sales hits a certain amount, you could win up to $100,000. (Note to myself – make the number bigger and flashier). Briefly, I’m just going to give away some of the ad sales revenue.

To be honest I got inspired by Alex Tew. Do you remember him? He was the guy who created the www.milliondollarhomepage.com and sold 1px sized banner ads to a number companies. I’m not trying to exactly copycat his idea, but somehow he came into my mind when I designed the 1MAd app. Besides I look similar to Alex in one photo (I’ll upload these photos later), so hopefully I’ll have at least the same amount of luck as he had.

I’m not worried, I know my idea might fail but what if I’m lucky. You might wonder what am I going to do with the money thats left after paying the winners and deducting my taxes. Firstly, I’d like to visit Lady Gaga’s concert later this year. Haha. Besides I’m going to invest into my other business ideas.
